We are a small 501c Donkey Sanctuary, located in the Catskill Mountains of Upstate NY. Here, we strive to advocate for our donkeys while sharing funny stories of our farm and events. Life is about adapting and overcoming the challenges that make everyday seem like there's "always something" in your way. So when you are faced with having to do more with less (money, ability, limbs perhaps...),know you're not alone. "It's okay. I'll learn to live without it." -Eeyore

Fall has arrived in full force here at Sweet Ass Farm! Ruthie appears on the mend, and we had wonderful Halloween. Our friend and farrier Rick Gray came with a guest (his very talented mentor Mr. Mike Wildenstein) to bring our herd up to snuff on hoof care. I was privileged to meet such a talented man. And Rick is great too! Haha!
